Where to Start

Have you not ridden a motorcycle in a long time.!!

Having a hard time trying to decide what or where to start with the motorcycling idea? Have you been out of motorcycles for 10 or 20 years? Possibly you rode as a kid or raced motocross and gave it up for whatever reason… Well, here are some ideas on where/what/when, etc. If you like to ride like I do, then here is OUR angle on it for you.

If you like to ride more street, we like a bike that is street legal from the factory. Here is our thought - if you ride over 50% on the street, but still go into the dirt, then bikes like the Honda XR 650L, KTM E button bikes, Suzuki DR SE and Yamaha TTR (E button) series bikes are great. Unlike the dirt counterparts, you don't have to street license (well not in all case but close!) them. They also have better warranties available from the dealer. Why, you ask, do we like these bikes better? Well, they are designed to be on the street more and the electric starter is a big (DID I SAY BIG) help. If you are a little on the short side, or are a beginner, this helps because you just push the button and go. Lots of people are scared off by having to kick-start the bikes. Street riders have always had push button (E button) starting, now this option is available for some street legal dirt bikes.

If you like to ride more dirt, or would like to try the dual sport rides, then the dirt bike with a license plate is the ticket for you. This is especially the ticket for you if you are more seriously into dirt. Here is our idea - if you ride over 50% in the dirt, but go race with your bike, then we like the Honda XR's, Kawasaki KLX, Suzuki DR series and the Yamaha TTR WR series bikes. We like these bikes because they let you be serious off road, but have the ability to become street legal. Of course there are other bikes that are good, but I only have so much space to let you in on all this stuff.

Remember That Most Dirt Bikes Can Be Street Licensed.

Here is the area where that dual sport conversion kit comes into the picture. If we can't street legalize your bike, then it can't be done - period. We have installed dual sport lighting kits on all kinds of bikes, from the big to the small Honda Z50R and XR80 to the mighty CR line and the King of Dual Sport - the Honda XR600R. In addition to these we have done others like the Kawasaki KLX and KX line, Suzuki DR and RMX, Yamaha TTR, YZ and WR lines, ATK, Husky, ADB, KTM and Husaberg. We sell kits for all bikes in one shape or another.
